The requirements for being listed on alternative-electronics.com are that a band or music project must fall into at least one or more of the genres covered by the site and that the band is of interest to the alternative-electronics community. General guidelines for meeting the second condition are outlined by the Wikipedia requirements for notability. A general rule of thumb is that any band with a Last.fm listener count of at least 500 users qualifies for inclusion on the site.
