Industrial Rock Gear

As the genre draws influences from rock and post-punk as well as electronic music scenes, industrial rock bands typically make use of a variety of both acoustic and electronic music equipment.

As is the case in the related genre of industrial metal, industrial rock musicians often use effects processors and production techniques to distort and modify recorded guitar and acoustic drums in ways uncommon in other genres of rock music. Popular tools used in this process include Pro Tools from Digidesign and various hardware and software effects processors.

The table below shows gear used most by industrial rock bands. Click the name of a piece of music equipment to read more about it.
